1496 A.D. = On this day, Leonardo da Vinci tried to fly his famous Flying Machine invention for the first time (Unsuccessful).

1977 A.D. = Steve Wozniak and Steve Jobs incorporate Apple Computer, Inc. 

1993 A.D. = President George Bush and Russian President Boris Yeltsin signed Treaty between the United States of America and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) on Strategic Offensive Reductions (START II), eliminating about two-thirds of each country's long range nuclear weapons.

1999 A.D. = The Mars Polar Lander is launched by NASA.

2019 A.D. = Chang'e 4 makes the first soft landing on the far side of the Moon, deploying the Yutu-2 lunar rover.

2009 A.D. = The cryptocurrency “Bitcoin” was created, providing a new digital Currency.

106 B.C. = Cicero (Roman Philosopher, Lawyer, and Politician).

1730 A.D. = Rani Velu Nachiyar (Queen of Sivaganga estate from c. 1780–1790). She was the first Indian queen to wage war with the East India Company in India. She is known by Tamils as Veeramangai (“brave woman”).

1831 A.D. = Savitribai Phule (the first principal of India’s first girls’ school and the founder of the first farmers’ school. Mahatma Jyotiba is regarded as one of the most important figures in the social reform movement in Maharashtra and India. She is known for her efforts to educate women and downtrodden castes. Jyotirao, who later came to be known as Jyotiba, was Savitribai’s mentor, mentor, and supporter. Savitribai lived her life as a mission. Whose purpose was to get widow marriage, eradicate untouchability, women’s emancipation, and educate Dalit women. She was also known as the ‘Adikavitri of Marathi’).
